- Lead the electrical charge : Work with the team to design and deliver electrical components for projects ranging from small gas stations to multi-million gallon fuel facilities.
- Master the power grid : Develop AC power systems, one-line diagrams, motor schematics, and electrical plans, ensuring seamless power distribution.
- Choose the right equipment : Specify electrical equipment like transformers, generators, and distribution centers, collaborating with clients and vendors.
- Go beyond electricity : Design facility support systems like security, access control, and lighting, creating comprehensive solutions.
- Unleash the data power : Perform electrical system analysis, including load flow, short circuit, and arc-flash assessments.
- Dive into instrumentation & controls : Coordinate with the fuel mechanical team, develop control philosophies, and design instrument systems.
- Be a team player and leader : Mentor colleagues, participate in proposal development, and support business development initiatives.
To join our high-performance crew, you'll need :
- An electrical engineering degree (ABET accredited) and a passed FE exam .
- At least 7 years of experience in fueling, oil & gas, water / wastewater, or industrial systems (aviation & federal fueling preferred).
- A Professional Engineer (PE) license .
- Software proficiency : Master MS Office and be comfortable with engineering software.
- Client-centric focus : Help clients plan improvements, determine project scope, and manage budgets.
- Communication mastery : Express yourself clearly and confidently, both verbally and in writing.
- Sharp analytical skills : Solve complex problems with meticulous attention to detail.
- Collaboration champion : Be a team player, facilitator, and problem-solver.
- Travel readiness : Be prepared to hit the road occasionally.
Bonus points if you have :
- Experience with ETAP, SKM, AutoCAD, Plant 3D, or Revit.
- Knowledge of federal design guides and specifications.
- Expertise in industrial standards like NEC, NFPA, API, PIP, and IEEE.
- Familiarity with fuel process equipment and EPC projects.
