We are seeking a skilled Electrical Discharge Machining (EDM) Operator to join our team. As an Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating various machines to fabricate precision parts.

This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.

Responsibilities :

• Setup and operate Sinker and Wire EDM
• Observe machine operation to verify accuracy of settings and to detect malfunctions
• Use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers
• Perform routine maintenance for daily operation
• Independently runs machines meeting product requirements
• Ability to read and interpret blue prints and CAD / CAM files as needed
• Inspect and test to ensure parts are free of defects
• Operate multiple EDMs simultaneously
• Performs setup and 1st part w / adjustments on NC Machine
• Multi axis machine competency
• G&M code literacy
• Adheres to job product requirements
• Uses checking gauges effectively
• Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a clean work environment
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements :

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a machinist apprenticeship program or relevant certification is preferred
• EDM experience Required
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Strong communication skills
• Able to follow written and verbal instructions
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
• Must have own tools

Hours : M-F 6 : 00am 2 : 30pm Overtime may be required.
