Chipton-Ross is seeking a Test & Verification Software Engineer 3 for a contract opportunity in Hazelwood, MO.
This position is 100% ONSITE.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
The successful candidate for the role of Test & Verification will play a crucial role in the design, development, and completion of test and verification of software products to ensure quality, reliability, and functionality for the Tomahawk program, while adhering to strict government regulations.
You will have the opportunity to partner with stakeholders to review and identify software requirements, test objectives, test strategies, and testability, enabling continuous integration, delivery, and deployment of safety critical software.
Your expertise will be instrumental in developing and maintaining automated test scripts and frameworks to improve efficiency and effectiveness of testing processes.
Additionally, you will perform software project management functions across test and verification activities involving multifunctional teams.
Regular and predictable attendance is required
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Set up and configure test environments
- Execute test cases and scenarios to verify functionality, performance, and safety of software systems
- Identify and report defects, issues, and potential vulnerabilities found during the testing process
- Provide test results and feedback on software design and functionality
REQUIRED SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS :
- Proficiency in VB.Net, SQL, and C++
- Experience in all aspects of designing and implementing system architecture, requirements, software and software testing
DESIRED SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS :
- Windows Environment (Windows 10 / 11, Windows Server)
- Project Management Tools (Azure DevOps, Jira, etc.)
- Azure DevOps Pipelines or other CI / CD tools
- Agile
- Strong mathematical analysis skills or STEM degree
EDUCATION :
Minimum of a Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry.
e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.
g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience, 9 years' related work experience, etc.). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
