We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Medical-Surgical Float Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic healthcare team.

Position : Travel Registered Nurse

Location : Knoxville, Tennessee

Schedule : Night (3x12 Hours) 19;00-7 : 00

Duration : 13-Week Contract

Unit : Medical Surgical Float

As a versatile and highly skilled Medical-Surgical Float RN, you will provide exceptional nursing care across multiple units, adapting quickly to varying patient needs and environments.

Requirements :

  • RN license in State of Assignment or compact license
  • 2 years of experience as a traveler 3 years with no travel
  • Covid Vaccine
  • Flu Vaccine

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
  • Administer medications, IV fluids, and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Monitor patient conditions and report any changes to the appropriate healthcare provider.
  • Provide wound care, catheterizations, and other nursing procedures as required.
  • Assist patients with daily living activities and ensure their comfort and safety.
  • Educate patients and their families about their conditions and post-discharge care.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver coordinated and effective patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and documentation.
  • Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.

Requirements

Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship

Do you have your RN License in the State of Assignment or a Compact License?

Do you have a min of 2 years experience as a travel nurse or a min of 3 yrs exp. in nursing?
