We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity in the Transportation Equipment Manufacturing industry for an Accounting Manager located in SAINT CHARLES, Missouri, United States.
The role involves managing various accounting functions, maintaining accurate customer records, and resolving customer inquiries efficiently.
Responsibilities :
- Oversee and manage all accounting functions, ensuring smooth operations and accurate reporting
- Utilize Accounting Software Systems and ADP - Financial Services for daily tasks and reporting
- Implement and manage BlackLine and Concur software for efficient workflow
- Utilize ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning for managing and integrating the business processes
- Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR), ensuring timely and accurate processing
- Conduct regular auditing to ensure financial procedures are adhered to
- Oversee billing functions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company standards
- Manage the financial close process effectively and efficiently
- Oversee corporate accounting and ensure all financial information is accurately presented
- Implement accrual accounting and fixed asset accounting principles in daily tasks
- Manage weekly account payable and adjusting journal entries
- Record journal entries accurately and timely
- Utilize SAP for managing business operations and customer relations
- Manage cash applications, ensuring all cash transactions are accurately recorded.
- Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within the Transportation Equipment Manufacturing industry
- Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is required
- Knowledge of ADP - Financial Services is essential
- Familiarity with BlackLine, Concur, and ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning
- Ability to handle all Accounting Functions including Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Experience with Auditing and Billing Functions
- Must be well-versed in the Financial Close Process and Corporate Accounting
- Expertise in Accrual Accounting and Fixed Asset Accounting
- Experience with Weekly Account Payable and Adjusting Journal Entries
- Proficiency in handling Journal Entries
- Knowledge of SAP and Cash Applications is necessary
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must be detail-oriented and have the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
