Job Summary :
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Territory Sales Manager for one of our clients to manage and grow our adhesives, coatings, and sealants business within the Western Pennsylvania & Ohio markets.
The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales by building relationships with contractors, distributors, specifiers, and building owners.
This role requires a strategic approach to market development, customer engagement, and territory management.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities :
Sales & Business Development :
- Manage and grow sales within the Western Pennsylvania & Ohio region by targeting contractors, distributors, specifiers, and building owners.
- Identify new business opportunities and pursue strategic partnerships to expand market share.
- Maintain and grow existing accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention.
Customer Engagement :
- Build strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers in the target industries, including contractors, distributors, architects, engineers, and building owners.
- Provide technical product support and training to customers, helping them understand the value and application of adhesives, coatings, and sealants.
- Conduct regular visits, presentations, and product demonstrations to educate customers and promote company offerings.
Territory & Account Management :
- Develop and execute a sales plan to meet or exceed revenue targets within the assigned territory.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activity to stay ahead of industry developments and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Prepare accurate and timely sales forecasts, reports, and customer data management using CRM software.
Product Knowledge :
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of company products and services, as well as competitor offerings.
- Collaborate with internal teams (technical, marketing, and product development) to ensure the delivery of the best solutions to customers.
- Participate in industry events, trade shows, and seminars to stay informed of the latest innovations and trends in adhesives, coatings, and sealants.
Required Skills
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field (preferred but not required).
- 5+ years of sales experience in roofing and waterproofing
- Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong network within the Western Pennsylvania & Ohio construction industry is a plus.
- Ability to understand technical products and effectively communicate value propositions.
- Excellent presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with CRM software and MS Office Suite.
- Willingness to travel within the territory regularly.
