As a Software Engineer you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software applications. You'll play a crucial role in the entire software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis to deployment, and ongoing support.

What you will do :

• Design, code, and test software features and components in an Agile environment as part of a Full Stack team
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and refine software requirements
• Lead coding efforts for specific modules or features
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex software issues
• Participate in code reviews and enforce coding standards
• Contribute to architectural decisions and design discussions
• Participate in on-call rotation
• Other duties as assigned

What you will bring :

• 3+ years of experience in developing in Java / J2EE, Design Patterns and Open-Source frameworks
• Experience with API development (Spring Boot, Spring Batch, RESTful APIs)
• Understanding of Object-oriented analysis, design, and development
• Solid experience with relational databases and PL / SQL
• Experience in a UNIX / Linux environment
• Solid experience building highly scalable web applications
• Strong understanding of software development methodologies and best practices
• Strong documentation, problem-solving, debugging, and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent teamwork and communication abilities
• Exposure to production support
• Enthusiasm to learn the environment
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field

What will set you apart :

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
• Experience with Agile principles
• Experience with UI development (React, Angular, jQuery, JavaScript, HTML, CSS3)
• Experience with AWS, including Lambda, EC2, ECS, Cloud Formation, S3, etc
• Experience with build / deploy via Jenkins pipelines and application servers such as WebLogic and Tomcat
• Experience with XML, EJB, CORBA, JDBC, REST, SOAP
• A background in retirement services or financial industries

Base Salary Range

$84,000.00 - $118,575.00

The salary range above shows the typical minimum to maximum base salary range for this position in the location listed. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program.

Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance.

Actual compensation offered may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and / or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
