RoleOverview :

Asa Managing Director for Business Development at Synergy ManagementGroup you will play a critical role in driving our growth withinthe private equity and venture capital industry.

Leveraging yourextensive network and relationships within the industry you willidentify and close highvalue consulting engagements withinstitutional investors specifically in the private equity andventure capitaldomains.

KeyResponsibilities :

  • Develop and executetargeted business development strategies to secure consultingengagements ranging from $200K to $1M with institutional investors(private equity & venture capital) within our four mainservice areas (refer to : ).
  • Leverage your existing networkand relationships within the private equity industry to identifyand pursue new businessopportunities.
  • Collaborate with our executiveteam to create and implement strategic plans for client engagementand revenuegeneration.
  • Successfully close new clientengagements through effective lead generation proposal developmentnegotiation support and client relationshipmanagement.
  • Client relationship managementand seniorlevel client engagementsupervision.
  • Utilize your deep understandingof the private equity landscape to provide valuable solutions andinsights toclients.

Qualifications :

Minimum of 20 years ofseniorlevel experience within the management consulting and privateequity industry at toptier or boutique firms (e.

g. McKinsey BostonConsulting Group Bain & Company KPMG PwC DeloitteBlackstone KKR Carlyle Sequoia Kleiner Perkins Accel Goldman SachsJ.P. Morgan MorganStanley).

  • Extensive network andrelationships within the institutional investor ecosystemparticularly in the private equity and venture capitalsectors.
  • Proven track record ofidentifying and closing $200K$1M consulting engagements withinstitutionalinvestors.
  • Strong business development sswith the ability to convert leads into successful clientengagements.
  • Excellent communicationnegotiation and interpersonalss.

AdditionalRequirements :

  • This is a remotecommissiononly contract position. Compensation is based solely onsuccessfully closing new client engagements for SMG as a percentageof new client retainers which range from $200K to $1M perengagement.
  • For engagement supervision of newclient engagements that you generate compensation will be $125$500perhour.
  • Upon successfully closing severalnew client engagements compensation can transition to a moretraditional model (e.g. base salary / monthly retainercommission).
  • Immediate availability tostart.
