We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our team. This full-time, onsite position involves working with a diverse K-12 caseload, providing individualized instruction and support to students with special needs.
You'll be part of a collaborative team, with access to an advisory group to help you navigate challenges and support student success.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for K-12 students with a range of disabilities.
- Adapt general education lessons to meet the needs of students with disabilities.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, school staff, and families to support student learning.
- Conduct assessments and track student progress to adjust teaching methods.
- Provide one-on-one or small group instruction to students based on their unique learning needs.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning and accommodations.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal special education laws and regulations.
Requirements :
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Special Education or a related field.
- Valid California Special Education Teaching Credential.
- Experience working with K-12 students in special education settings.
- Strong knowledge of IEP development and implementation.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with students, families, and educational staff. Benefits :
