Mr. Braxton Bar & Kitchen is located in the Parkview / Petworth neighborhood of Washington, DC.
We are an American bistro with a Caribbean & Latin flair.
We're currently seeking part-time & full-time servers for at least three shifts per week. We are open 5 days / week (Wed - Sun) including Saturday & Sunday brunch!
Our ideal candidate has :
- At least one year of high volume, full-service restaurant experience
- A warm, hospitable demeanor
- An appreciation for traditional Latin & Caribbean food & beverage
Primary duties include :
- Offering hospitable and professional service to all guests
- Maintaining superb command of all menus (food and beverage) including details regarding allergies & preparation
- Ability to optimally setup, breakdown and maintain a clean and organized dining room
Essential physical functions include :
- Walk and stand during entire shift.
- Continuously reach, bend, lift, carry, stoop and wipe.
- Ability to lift and carry boxes weighing up to 50 pounds
Other requirements :
- Strong English-language communication skills are required.
- Knowledge of craft cocktails wine, spirits and beer
- Well-groomed appearance and hospitable demeanor.
Compensation includes :
- Base hourly + tips (averaging $23 - $27 / hr)
