The Medical Manager reports to the Chief Medical Officer. The Medical Manager acts as an advocate, encourages and supports choice, independence and individuality and provides confidentiality and respect to all residents.

What your day to day looks like :
Chart Oversight which includes monitoring Resident Assistant charting, follow ups, and appropriateness of charting.Monitor and report changes in resident symptoms or behaviorCommunicate with collaborating physicians or specialists regarding resident careMaintain accurate resident medical recordsProvide advice and emotional support to residents and their family membersFalls Follow which includes documentation, physician notification, charting, and any other related items.Doctor Appointment coordination and follow up. This also includes making sure documentation is received after visit and all orders are complete.Medication training of new Resident Assistants; review the medication cart, medication administration records, process to follow, and guidelines and expectations.Pre and post move in assessments in conjunction with Community DirectorEmployee Injury triage when availableManager On-Call RotationOther duties as assignedQualifications :
Current unrestricted RN license in the state of WisconsinPrior experience in assisted living communitiesCompassion and a positive, outgoing personalityStrong critical thinking, communication, team building and leadership skillsAbility to remain calm in high pressure situationsCBRF CertificationsHave flexibility to help in all aspects of running day to day operations including working as a Resident Assistant, when neededThe people here don't just help residents - they are part of their home.
