Description :
Job Tasks and Responsibilities :
- Reviews prep sheets for food preparation
- Begins and completes baking / food preparation
- Assembles catering food in baskets, trays and bowls
- Makes deliveries by vehicle or by foot as assigned
- Responsible for breakfast and lunch preparation and set up for next day orders
- Works FOH or BOH as required (secondary functions listed below)
- Responsible for clean-up duties
- Empties trash as required
Secondary Functions; Expo, Cashier, Dishwasher, Line Cook
Highlighted tasks include :
- Maintains abundant FOH displays and condiment stations
- Checks bathrooms
- Busses tables
- Prepares food to spec and order request
- Responsible for maintaining accurate cash flow and integrity of financial transactions
- Prepare and organize food for delivery to guest
Requirements :
Job Specifications and Requirements :
- High School diploma or equivalent or in process of completing same
- Must be able to complete CBC driver training, pass a MVR according to CBC standards and maintain a valid drivers' license with insurance
- State Foodhandler card / ServSafe certification as applicable
- Preferably a minimum of 3 months' work experience in a guest service capacity. Restaurant or retail environment preferred
- Possess strong guest service and communication skills
- Must be able to read, write and speak English
- Must be proficient in basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
