We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Program Manager in Houston, Texas. This role is within the industry of Auxiliary Services and the selected candidate will be a key player in managing, overseeing, and ensuring the smooth operation of various programs.
Responsibilities include :
- Leading and providing support for various Auxiliary Services programs.
- Conducting field inspections related to these programs.
- Serving as the department's representative for space and equipment, including annual inventory and inspection of auxiliary occupied spaces.
- Analyzing data, key performance indicators, and identifying necessary trends for auxiliary programs, operations, and financial verifications and billing.
- Ensuring compliance with policies and regulations by directing proper operational procedures for auxiliary projects and programs to contractors, vendors, and leased partners.
- Handling the hiring and management of student employees.
- Assigning key access control for Auxiliary Services spaces.
- Functioning as the lead customer service representative and liaison to students, staff, faculty, and the general campus community in regard to Auxiliary Services programs.
- Managing and responding to special requests and inquiries.
- Scheduling and preparing for advisory, management, operational, and other meetings for Auxiliary Services.
- Overseeing and tracking current and ongoing Auxiliary Services projects and tasks.
- Managing contract compliance for Auxiliary Services vendors through Revenue Vision or a similar database.
- Providing executive summary information and other material to aid in review, analysis, and decision making.
- Managing and implementing special projects assigned by the executive director of Auxiliary Services.
- Proficiency in answering inbound calls and providing excellent customer service
- Experience in program management and the ability to effectively manage multiple projects concurrently
- A strong understanding of facilities management and efficient utilization of resources
- Demonstrated skills in using Microsoft Office Suites, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Familiarity with PeopleSoft and the ability to use the software for various administrative tasks
- Excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
- Proven track record of maintaining professionalism in a fast-paced work environment.
