Mammography Technologist - Radiology-Diagnostic

Full-Time (Outpatient Setting)
Relocation Candidates Accepted
This position is required to perform a variety of radiological technical procedures specific to the diagnosis and treatment of breast disease in a high-volume outpatient setting.
Responsible for producing high-quality radiographic images while interacting with all patients in a caring and comforting manner.
Jointly responsible for performing required quality control activities as mandated by the Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA) and the FDA.
Depending on location, it may be required to utilize general radiography skills to perform diagnostic radiology exams.
Must Haves :
- Successful completion of a formal radiologic technology training program, which meets the requirements for registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Washington Radiologic Technologist upon hire
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
- National Registered Technologist - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
- National Registered Technologist - Mammography within 1 year of hire
- Depending on location, prior general radiography experience may be required
Preferred :
Two (2) years of full-time mammography experience
