Experience : Previous experience in transport refrigeration, HVAC, or general heavy-duty vehicle maintenance. Problem-Solving : Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills to diagnose complex, intermittent issues. Physical Stamina : Ability to lift heavy objects, work in cramped spaces, and withstand various weather conditions (as some work is performed outdoors or on the road). Communication : Clear written and verbal communication skills for documenting work and interacting with customers. Driver's License : A valid driver's license

We are looking for an experienced Refrigeration Technician to service, maintain, and repair Carrier Transicold refrigeration units on trucks and trailers. The ideal candidate has strong diagnostic skills, mechanical expertise, and a commitment to delivering quality work. This role is in Hempstead, NY.
Responsibilities :
- Inspect, diagnose, and repair Carrier Transicold transport refrigeration units
- Perform preventative maintenance for refrigeration units on trucks and trailers
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration issues
- Accurately complete service reports and work orders
- Provide excellent customer service during service calls and in-shop repairs
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
- Stay current with technical training and industry updates
