About the Department
Originally established for the IHC (Dodd Frank ) project. We source, host, govern and present large volumes of BNPP data to facilitate Fed / Regulatory reporting.
We build a data pipeline and ensure accuracy, quality & availability
SUMMARY OF THE ROLE
A senior technical role that will act as a relay / extension to our technical team in ISPL. The resource will be responsible to carry on activities, cover NAR timezone and provide technical guidance to the team.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Represent the NAR development task force for the global IHC Core platform mostly located in ISPL / India.
- Consult with users, management, functional and technical personnel to clarify business requirements, identify problems, and suggest and implement changes / solutions / best practices.
- Write / analyze technical requirements, then propose reporting solutions to them based on BNPP standard systems. Perform risk analysis related to these solutions.
- Work closely with ETL / OFSAA / OBIEE developer to set up interfaces and procedures by following the best practices / conventions within the team (including peer code review).
- Help in the transformation of workflow inside the DWH (stored procedures / trigger / T2T / SCD.)
- Understanding all dependencies of existing applications hosted in the DWH.
- Responsible for the successful delivery of DB and DWH platform to the entire IHC group and BI / ETL development and implementations, data architecture.
- Help deploy application to UAT and production environments, and handle bug-fixes and implement possible system redesigns during these periods.
- Maintain and support existing applications, and participate in user trainings.
Minimum Required Qualifications
- Very good track record in Oracle database development, i.e. good knowledge & practice of Oracle SQL and PL / SQL.
- Several years of experience in Informatica ETL (Power Center), Data Quality and MDM module.
- Advanced UNIX scripting expertise
- An excellent understanding to the concept of business intelligence tools, having hands-on experience is a plus.
- Autosys experience or experience with other scheduling / monitoring tools
- Must have strong technical and problem solving skill set (Banking industry experience is a plus)
- French / English
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of OFSAA data model and Hyperion suite is a plus
- Familiar with Waterfall development methodology (development lifecycle including source control) and / or Agile
