Position Overview

A lovely couple on the Upper East Side is seeking an experienced  Part-Time Laundress  to manage all aspects of laundry and wardrobe care in their private home. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of handling fine garments, linens, and delicate fabrics, and will bring professionalism, organization, and attention to detail to the role.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide full-charge laundry care for family clothing, bed linens, and household textiles
• Handle fine linens, delicate fabrics, and specialty garments with proper care techniques
• Perform heavy pressing, steaming, ironing, and stain treatment as needed
• Organize and maintain closets and wardrobes, including seasonal closet changes
• Fold garments and linens to household standards
• Maintain laundry and cleaning supplies inventory
• Collaborate with household staff and assist with additional tasks when required
