Job Description
Reporting to the Manager of Employee Events & Communications, this role supports Wynn Las Vegas' employee culture by creating written and designed content for employee events and programming, including the storytelling program.
Job Responsibilities :
- Craft short- and long-form copy for the employee storytelling program and internal communications
- Utilize pre-existing templates and brand standards to design graphics for employee events and programming
- Generate storytelling content, interviewing story subjects, gathering story details and vetting information for accuracy
- Partner with internal and external stakeholders to promote employee events and campaigns through printed and digital communications
- Collaborate with employee video specialist to storyboard content and conduct filming
- Provide copyediting support to employee events and communications team
- Support employee communications team in maintaining communications calendar, offering guidance and feedback on channels and tactics
- Post printed and digital content to employee communication channels
- Ensure all communications positively, accurately and clearly reflect the company culture and standards
- Assist with execution of department events, including event set up / strike and programming
Qualifications
Candidate Requirements & Preferences :
- Preferred minimum of two years' experience in communications, journalism, public relations or a related field.
- Must possess excellent communication skills, including an ability to communicate, read and write in English in a professional manner.
- Strong attention to detail while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite software
- Ability to prioritize, pivot, troubleshoot and recover in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule depending on department needs, including the ability to work all shifts and days as needed.
- Maintain high levels of confidentiality.
- Present a well-groomed and professional appearance.
- Applies good judgment, works efficiently within a team and keeps superiors informed.
