Description
Our client is seeking a passionate and qualified professional to take on the role of Director of Finance & Accounting. This is a dynamic and impactful non-profit, supporting the Jewish community worldwide.
As a key member of the senior leadership team, the Director of Finance & Accounting will be instrumental in steering financial operations, shaping strategic financial reporting, and championing a culture that connects with the mission and goals of the organization.
The position will be tasked with ensuring accurate and timely preparation of financial statements while maintaining GAAP compliance standards.
In addition, the Director of Finance & Accounting will act as a liaison between the global headquarters and various stakeholders across a variety of locations and cultures, being the primary point of contact for all financial information.
Working hand-in-hand with the CFO, the role ensures that financial practices are met at the highest standards. Finally, the Director of Finance & Accounting will oversee a sizable team, providing day-to-day supervision, along with mentorship and professional development.
The opportunity offers a competitive salary along with an impressive benefits package. Please note the position is hybrid, requiring 2 days (per week) in the office.
Requirements
- BA / BS in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 10+ years of experience in accounting, CPA required
- Supervisory experience required
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
