Team Member
Vitality Bowls Superfood Café is a national restaurant known for our delicious Açaí bowls, labeled one of the world’s leading superfoods because of its high nutritional value and health benefits.
Our full menu is made to order and the fresh ingredients and superfoods that Vitality Bowls offers are unlike any other fast-casual options in the Omaha area.
As a Vitality Bowls Team Member, you will be a key part of the frontline team that shares our mission of health and wellness.
You will have the opportunity each day you work to bring passion and personality to our customers through one-on-one interactions with them, and also to prepare and serve a wide variety of delicious and nutritious foods to them.
You will be part of a fun and committed team that ensures all areas of our business run efficiently.
Duties :
- Follow recipes and make all food in a timely and sanitary manner.
- Memorize the training material and be able to explain to customers the health benefits of the ingredients in an upbeat and informative manner.
- Ensure safe operation of the kitchen equipment and adhere to safety / security guidelines.
- Maintain a clean, stocked, and tidy workspace.
- Participate in all opening and / or closing procedures.
- Communicate effectively with coworkers and managers and work as a team.
- Embrace excellent customer service and come to work with a positive attitude
Job Requirements :
- Must achieve and maintain Food Handler Safety Training Certification.
- Handle a basic computer, POS system, cash and credit cards.
- Know and follow guidelines for safe and sanitary food handling, and for food allergy safety.
- Follow health, sanitary, and safety requirements.
- Maintain a clean and work appropriate personal appearance.
- Stand for long periods of time, occasionally lift heavy boxes, move quickly and have a sense of urgency.
- Show up on time and take appropriate breaks.
- Attend all team member meetings.
