Responsibilities

• The Teradyne Compute Test Division Engineering team is seeking a hands on first level manager to lead our Minnesota based Embedded Firmware team. Development occurs in a dynamic and challenging multi-site development environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with hardware and software subject matter experts to make complex hardware and software come together into a working system.
• Manage multiple simultaneous (typically 2-3) Embedded Firmware development projects including :
• Project planning
• Resource management
• Status reporting to management
• Technical oversight : code / doc reviews, bug tracking
• Line management of a ~4-8 member team
• Hands-on system and code architecture, implementation, testing and product integration debug as required
• Work with Hardware, Software and Systems engineering to define scalable, high-performance, high-quality, extensible, and maintainable code
