Unit Summary
CVICU is a specialized cardiac unit dedicated to caring for cardiothoracic surgery patients. This critical care unit has five open heart recovery beds and seven CVICU beds for patients that are in need of longer stay due to a higher acuity of care.
Job Summary
The Nurse Assistant Tech is an individual with clerical aptitude and abilities that assist the nursing staff by performing selected nursing procedures and routine duties in caring for patients.
This individual performs multiple job functions as indicated. All functions must be within the scope of training and instruction received and are under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
Qualifications
High School graduate or GED preferred
Knowledge of medial terminology preferred
Experience with computers preferred
