Livit Staffing is excited to be searching for Production Specialists to work in Des Moines, IA!
As a Production Specialist , you will play a vital role in the creation of our inks. Responsibilities include mixing materials, filtering products, operating production equipment, and ensuring accurate labeling and shipment of products.
Key Responsibilities of a Production Specialist :
- Set up and operate production equipment, ensuring safe and efficient operation.
- Accurately weigh and combine materials based on batch tickets.
- Take samples to Quality Control and adjust batches as needed.
- Filter and pump ink into appropriate containers, ensuring accuracy.
- Apply correct labels and prepare products for shipment.
- Perform minor maintenance and assist with general plant upkeep.
- Communicate with other shifts and participate in safety and process improvement meetings.
- Adhere to all safety and environmental policies.
Skills / Abilities :
- Ability to operate a forklift and use computers in an automated environment.
- Strong multitasking skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to read and follow instructions, with basic problem-solving skills.
- Capable of lifting up to 55 lbs repeatedly.
