Job Summary :

R&R Auto Group Chevrolet is in need of skilled Service Technicians to join our team in Schuylkill Haven, Pennsylvania.

As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for performing automotive repairs and maintenance services on a variety of vehicles.

With a sign on bonus of up to $5,000 this is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Technician to join a reputable and growing organization in the Auto industry.

Compensation & Benefits :

This is a full-time, hourly position with competitive pay (up to $30 / hour to start) based on experience.

Our technicians work in a climate controlled shop with all necessary special tools on hand.

Responsibilities :

• Perform maintenance and repairs on a variety of vehicles with jobs ranging from basic maintenance to sophisticated repairs.
• Test drive vehicles and test components and systems using special service equipment
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues in vehicles.
• Properly use and maintain tools and equipment in the service department.
• Keep the work area clean and organized to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
• Communicate with Service Advisors and customers regarding vehicle repairs and recommended maintenance.
• Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by providing quality work and excellent customer service.

Requirements :

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an automotive technician (preferred but not required).
• ASE and / or Manufacturer Certifications are ideal
• PA state inspection license (or be prepared to take the test)
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Must have your own basic tools.
• Strong Automotive background.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including rotating Saturdays as needed.
• Willing to submit to a drug screen & background check.
