About The Position
Job Title : Registered Nurse - Step Down Unit Job Specialty : Step Down Intermediate Care Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : 06 : 30 AM - 07 : 00 PM Guaranteed Hours : Not specified Experience : Minimum of 2 years required License : Registered Nurse (RN) License Certifications : - Basic Life Support (BLS) - Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - National Institutes of Health (NIH) Certification Must-Have : - Proven experience in step down or intermediate care units - Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills - Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team Job Description : - Provide high-quality nursing care to patients transitioning from intensive care - Monitor and assess patients' conditions and communicate changes promptly - Administer medications and treatments as prescribed - Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans - Educate patients and families on managing illnesses and post-hospital care - Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and standards - Maintain detailed and accurate patient records - Participate actively in staff meetings and training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge
