Tax Supervisor

Job Title : Tax Supervisor

Job Location : Hybrid

Job Salary : $120k - $140k (DOE)

Requirements : 5+ Years of Public Accounting Tax Experience

Position Overview

The Tax Supervisor will lead a team of tax professionals in providing high-quality tax services to clients. This role involves overseeing tax compliance and planning, ensuring adherence to regulations, and delivering strategic tax solutions, especially for small businesses.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and mentor a team of tax professionals, providing guidance and support in tax compliance and planning.

Review and approve tax returns and related documentation for accuracy and compliance with tax laws.

Develop and implement tax strategies for small business clients to optimize their tax positions.

Stay updated on legislative changes and industry trends to inform clients and improve service offerings.

Collaborate with clients to understand their tax needs and provide tailored advice to enhance their financial outcomes.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

At least 5 years of experience in tax preparation and compliance, with a focus on small businesses.

Proven leadership skills and experience managing a team.

Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax regulations and compliance requirements.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build client relationships.
