Veris Manufacturing (an Emerald Technologies company) has an exciting opportunity for a Production Supervisor to join its Brea, CA team! The Production Supervisor oversees all aspects of the post-SMT operations and SMT departments while evaluating the manufacturing processes, personnel, and equipment to produce a variety PCBAs.

Responsibilities of the Production Supervisor :

• Directly supervises area leads and employees in the assigned area of responsibility.
• Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the Company’s policies and applicable laws.
• Ensure production requirements are met while working with subordinate supervisors to address problems / issues.
• Synchronizes labor to complete as much work as possible within timeframes.
• Review production and operating reports and resolves operational, manufacturing, and maintenance problems to ensure minimum costs and prevent operations delays.
• Interprets specifications, blueprints, and job orders to workers, and assigns duties.
• Suggest changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of department or employees.

Qualifications of the Production Supervisor :

• High school diploma or equivalent, five years experience in electronics manufacturing.
• Prior experience in electromechanical assembly, thru-hole PCB assembly, conformal coating chemical / polymeric bonding.
• Recruit, supervise, and evaluate post-SMT departments staff.
• Create schedule for post-SMT departments to ensure proper coverage.
• Identify and schedule training for post-SMT department.
• Ability to provide leadership while motiving employees with trust and respect.
