Our work depends on a Systems Administrator Associate joining our team in support of routine server operations for nearly 30 customers.
These operations include but are not limited to Vulnerability Management, Patch Management, User Management We are a Managed IT Service Provider with systems hosted in multiple cloud environments.
HOW A SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR ASSOCIATE WILL MAKE AN IMPACT : Applies security and compliance patches to IT systemsReviews vulnerability scans before and validates successful patch activities following operationsFollows defined standard operating procedures while providing technical support in the management of IT systems and configurationsTroubleshoots virtual systems and software issuesAssist end users on the proper use of hardware and software with close oversight from senior staffMonitors multiple ticket queues and responds to requests received via email or direct escalationMaintains a dashboard or similar tool to track workProvisions and maintains user accountsResponds to on-call eventsREQUIRED SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS : Bachelor’s Degree in a similar field or equivalent combination of technical training, certifications (listed in preferred) and / or practical IT experienceWorking knowledge of server operating systems (RHEL, Windows Server)Working knowledge of Active Directory, and related concepts (User account management, LDAP, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, Certificate services, etc)Working knowledge of cloud technologies and platforms (AWS, Azure)Understanding of security principles and best practicesExcellent communication, customer service skills and time management skillsMust be able to function in a fast-paced environment and balance competing priorities with guidance from leadership and senior staffMust be flexible with schedule and able to work after-hours and some weekends to meet customer maintenance windows within 24 / 7 environmentLocation : Hybrid in Bossier City, LAPREFERRED SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS : Certifications : Cloud provider (AWS, Azure, Google), CompTIA, Microsoft, Red HatServer deployments, upgrades, decommissionsScripting and Powershell experiencePatch & vulnerability management experience via BigFix, AWS SSMTLS protocol and certificate managementWorking knowledge of network technologiesAbility to obtain Secret clearanceGDIT IS YOUR PLACE : 401K with company matchComprehensive health and wellness packagesInternal mobility team dedicated to helping you own your careerProfessional growth opportunities including paid education and certificationsCutting-edge technology you can learn fromRest and recharge with paid vacation and holidaysThe likely hourly rate for this position is between $22.
47 - $30.41. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
