Description of the role :
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team at Senior Helpers - Lee's Summit.
As a CNA, you will provide essential caregiving support to our elderly clients, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being.
Responsibilities :
- Assisting clients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
- Monitoring and reporting changes in client's physical and mental condition
- Administering medication under the direction of a healthcare professional
- Assisting clients with mobility and transfers
- Providing emotional support and companionship to clients
- Maintaining a clean and organized environment for clients
Requirements :
- Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent communication skills and ability to interact effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Strong empathy and patience towards the elderly
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Knowledge of proper infection control protocols
