Job Summary

The AI Product Platform Team is responsible for building industry "best-in-class" products for Enterprise Storage and AI.

We are responsible for delivering a set of products and services that innovate to power the AI storage and data management needs of Fortune 500 companies - spanning both enterprise and cloud deployments.

We have a unique opportunity in the AI Product Platform team for a Sr. Product Manager who will focus on building next-generation storage and data management solutions for AI / ML and Enterprise Applications - through analysis and understanding of targeted markets, market trends, new technology, customer business issues and the competitive environment.

This Product Manager will work closely with research and development to design and create products and validate early product definitions with customers.

This role will involve analyzing the current solution portfolio to identify gaps, develop new roadmaps and help define the overall AI product strategy.

This entails a firm understanding of software products, platforms, infrastructure, and the AI market; as well as developing the business case (including current and potential revenue) and the necessary competitive positioning to allow the research and development team to shape and deliver customer-centric and innovative product offerings.

This role reports to Senior Director, Product Management in the Platform Product and Engineering team.

Job Requirements

  • 8 - 10 years product management, product marketing, business consulting, or business operations related relevant experience.
  • 3+ years of inbound Product Management experience.
  • Strong experience in defining product line roadmap and strategy.
  • Proven leadership in working cross functionally with development, sales, and marketing teams.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to influence others internally and externally.
  • Ability to analyze data, problem-solve, analyze tradeoffs, and scope business requirements.
  • Decompose technical proposals into straightforward solutions.
  • Experience creating B2B service offerings that cater to a wide audience
  • Experience in AI / ML workloads is a plus
  • Experience working in the Enterprise Storage and data management industry, familiarity with NetApp and competitors is a plus.

Education

Bachelor's degree required. Master of Science (MS) or Master of Business Administration (MBA) preferred and / or, relevant experience.

Compensation

The base salary range for this position is $212,000 $260,040 and will be determined by the candidate's location, qualifications, experience, and education.

Final compensation packages are competitive and in line with industry standards, reflecting a variety of factors, and include a comprehensive benefits package.

This may cover Health Insurance, Life Insurance, Retirement or Pension Plans, Paid Time Off (PTO), various Leave options, Performance-Based Incentives, employee stock purchase plan, and / or restricted stocks (RSU’s), with all offerings subject to regional variations and governed by local laws, regulations, and company policies.
