Are you excited by the idea of using your DevOps skills to passionately build and maintain low latency trading systems? Would you like to help us optimize, standardize, and improve our software delivery platforms, systems and processes?

CTC is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer for our DevOps team. As a member of this team you will design, build and maintain cloud and on-prem infrastructure, leveraging our Platform and processes.

What You’ll Do

• Collaborate with engineering, infrastructure, security and support teams to deliver application services to our customers and internal users
• Create, maintain, and improve Kubernetes and bare metal platforms
• Deliver and maintain infrastructure as code solutions
• Meet deadlines in support of a fast-moving release cycle
• Leverage new technologies and approaches with vendor and open source solutions
• Build monitoring systems, alerts, and dashboards for improved system insights and uptime / status evaluation
• Utilize modern DevOps tools such as Terraform, GitLab, Artifactory, Conan, Conda, and Jenkins
• Automate design patterns as infrastructure as code and test the automation
• Maintain cloud and on-prem infrastructure
• Coach, mentor, and provide feedback and architecture support to developers at CTC

What We’re Looking For

• Advanced, expert level experience with AWS / Azure, Kubernetes and enterprise application architecture
• Extensive experience with Linux, Flux, Helm, Docker, Ansible, Terraform, Vault, Artifactory
• Proficient in bespoke base container creation
• Advanced git experience
• Fluent in Python and shell scripting
• Experience with package / dependency management, Gradle, Conda, or Conan experience preferred
• Proficiency with MS SQL Server and Postgres queries
• Working knowledge of C++, Python and Java applications
• Strong understanding of observability tools such as Grafana, Splunk and Prometheus
• Able to implement occasional commercial applications required by other teams to ensure high availability

Compensation

• Salary Range : $175-225k, plus a discretionary bonus
• The discretionary bonus will be dependent on individual skills, experience, qualifications, and firm performance
