Registered Nurse - Medical / Surgical
We are offering a special summer incentive with a $10,000 sign-on bonus for a 3-year commitment for experienced RNs. This position involves providing professional care to a designated group of patients using the nursing process, technology, and resources within the institution's philosophy.
- Complete initial patient assessments and develop appropriate care plans based on patient and family needs.
- Ensure patient and employee safety by reporting and correcting hazards and incidents.
- Communicate with the healthcare team and offer constructive feedback to assist in the professional development of peers.
- Receives patient Bedside Shift Report and delegates patient care tasks to assigned HCT's.
- Complete basic patient care activities such as assessments, vital sign interpretation, medication administration, and patient education.
- Maintain patient safety as the highest priority by ensuring compliance with safety measures.
- Promote a healthy work environment and a healing patient environment.
- Effectively communicate to promote interdisciplinary collaboration, patient care coordination, and patient safety.
