Program Manager
Works closely with administrative and academic leadership to create, manage, and implement the interdisciplinary program in Environmental Finance and Risk Management (EFRM).
A variety of soft skills and experience may be required for the following role Please ensure you check the overview below carefully.
- Develops and implements an annual strategy to position FIU as an international leader in EFRM research, education, workforce development, and practical applications.
- Identifies and pursues funding and economic development opportunities related to environmental change, environmental hazards, and associated commercial and policy applications in financial risk management.
- Collaborates with university departments and schools to promote high-impact interdisciplinary scholarship, development of instructional course materials, case studies, and research at the interface of science, finance, policy, and law.
- Identifies and develops strategic external partnerships from academic, business, government, and non-governmental organizations (NGOs).
Formalizes partnerships with key organizations.
Establishes an EFRM advisory board of key experts in academia, industry, and the community to guide and expand EFRM.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in an appropriate specialization and four (4) years of related experience, or Master's degree in an appropriate specialization and two (2) years related experience.
