Seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Family Physician or Internal Medicine Physician, with additional qualifications in Geriatrics, to join their growing department.
This opportunity is a fixed term, or tenure track, academic position at the rank / title of Clinical Assistant Professor Level or higher.
The mission of the Geriatrics Division is to care for our older population and prepare all levels of learners for the challenges of caring for older patients.
The Department of Family Medicine is one of 11 clinical departments at the School of Medicine and is a nationally recognized leader in Family Medicine education.
Located in a 120,000 sq. ft. facility, the department provides a wide variety of comprehensive primary care services for all age groups to include : geriatrics, sports medicine, obstetrical care, office-based procedures, nutrition services, counseling, and psychological support in an integrated care model.

Patient care will be provided in an ambulatory geriatric clinic, inpatient setting, and in a continuing care retirement community with skilled care beds.
Strong emphasis on teaching, mentoring, advising, supervision of residents, medical students, and other learners

The School of Medicine provides accredited education programs for medical students, residents and fellows, doctoral students in the basic medical sciences, and practicing physicians.
