Staffing Coordinator

We are seeking a dynamic Staffing Coordinator for our Northville community.
Responsibilities :
- Prepares schedule for the Care department by scheduling all Licensed Nurses (RN / LPN), CNA’s, Caregivers and Med Techs to ensure state mandated staffing ratios are maintained.
- Prepare monthly schedules for all nursing departments schedule to be posted at 6-week intervals and 2-weeks prior to the expiration of the current schedule.
- Prepare daily sign in sheets at least two weeks in advance.
- Monitor daily staffing per census utilizing the staffing resources to minimize overtime.
- Maintain daily roster sheets for each shift.
- Daily review of previous day’s-time clock punches to the schedule.
- Report any staffing challenges to the DON immediately.
- Maintain attendance records of nursing staff and triggers disciplinary action for staffing issues in relation to attendance to the respective Nurse Manager.
- May perform clerical duties and other assignments as needed for the Nursing Department and Management Team.
- Maintains Medical Records and prepares doctor rounds.
- Orders medical and office supplies and puts away all supplies.
Education and / or Experience :
- Minimum High School diploma or equivalent.
- 2 years office administrative experience in Assisted Living, Memory Care, Skilled Nursing, or hospital is preferred.
