As an Onboarding Specialist, you’ll ensure every new employee has a smooth, welcoming, and compliant transition into GoRascal. You’ll manage the orientation process, track onboarding tasks, and partner closely with recruiters and hiring managers to deliver an exceptional new hire experience.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate new hire paperwork, background checks, and compliance requirements.
- Lead orientation sessions and guide new hires through systems, policies, and tools.
- Ensure Airtable and other tracking systems are up to date for all onboarding stages.
- Partner with Recruitment to move committed Loan Officers into onboarding quickly and efficiently.
- Maintain ongoing communication with new hires pre-start and post-orientation to ensure engagement.
- Identify opportunities to streamline, automate and improve onboarding workflows.
Qualifications
2–3 years of experience in onboarding, HR coordination, or a related role.Preference for previous mortgage HR experience.Strong organizational and project management skills.Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.Efficient with CRM / ATS / HRIS systems (Rippling, Airtable, Lever, or similar).High attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information.
