Traveling Superintendent (Indianapolis Based)
A bit about us :
The Traveling Superintendent is responsible for leading projects from start to finish. These projects will be both local and throughout the states.
Initial project will be in Rockford, IL. My client specializes in the construction of wood-frame projects within the multifamily and senior living sectors.
This position requires providing leadership to the project teams in order to meet or exceed project goals related to the design, construction and quality of the project.

Job Details
Must be local to the Indianapolis or Rockford Area and willing to travel
1. Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Superintendent or similar role in the construction industry.
2. Proven experience in managing tenant interior construction projects.
3. Proficiency in Procore or equivalent construction management software.
4. Strong understanding of construction procedures, materials, and project management principles.
5. Excellent problem-solving abilities and strong decision-making skills.
6. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents.
7. Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and supervise a diverse team.
8. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.
9. Willingness to travel extensively as required by project locations.
10. A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
11. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field is preferred.
