Lead Insurance Claims Specialist
Hours : (M-TH) 8am-5pm and (F) 8am-3pm
Rate : $30.00 / hour
This is an onsite position in Greenwood, IN.
Mid America Health is growing! We are seeking a full time Lead Insurance Specialist to add to our team! Strong customer service skills, ability to multitask, proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment are a must to be successful in this position!
The Lead Insurance Specialist will perform an array of revenue cycle duties including but not limited to :
- Dental claim review and submission
- Identify and correct rejected and denied claims
- Managing accounts receivable including appeals
- Process and monitor incoming payments
- Update insurance plans / fee schedules as needed
- Chart note transcription
- Provide support with credentialing and contracting
- Assist with dental insurance verification for commercial and Medicaid plans in various states when needed
Lead Insurance Specialist must be proficient with :
- Dental terminology
- CDT codes
- Dental insurance billing
- Accounts receivable
- Medicaid
Lead Insurance Specialist ideal candidate will possess skills in :
- Research and problem solving
- Time management
- Effective communication
- Flexibility as operational priorities change
- Ability to work autonomously and in a group
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
