Zenith Behavioral Health is an Adolescent Residential Treatment Center dedicated to providing compassionate and effective care for teens struggling with mental health and substance use disorders.

POSITION SUMMARY :

Zenith is seeking an empathic, eager and engaging Nurse to provide care to youth in need, in a residential setting. You'll be responsible for tending to medical, psychiatric, individual and at times, group care, alongside members of a multidisciplinary treatment team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITES :

• Administer health assessments and complete required documentation
• Providing health education on a variety of topics to clients, including but not limited to general health care, medication, diabetes, safe sex, co-occurring diagnoses, and nutrition
• Provide resource materials to patients
• Medication administration
• Treatment planning
• Collaboration with medical and psychiatric providers

QUALIFICATIONS :

• This position requires active licensure by the AZ Board of Nursing Education and Nurse Registration, either LPN or RN
• Must be eligible to obtain Level I fingerprint and a clear background check
• Two years working with individuals with psychiatric disabilities, preferred
• Knowledge of the principles, methods, and techniques used in general and psychiatric nursing; medicines and narcotics and their effect upon the patient;

theories of personality growth and development; available community resources, preferred

• Ability to work on a team and possess good communication skills, both oral and written
• Current CPR, BLS certifications preferred, but will provide
