- Lead, coordinate and implement budget development
- Monitor Expenditures and expense projections; annual audit; reconciliation and issue / problem management
- Business analysis; reviewing expense requests and providing validation / justification
- Coordinating financial planning on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis
- Monitor Budget process and reporting on status by generation and production of budget reports
- Prepare and review RFPs and contracts
- Leadership and team management including SMART goals, training and performance evaluations
Working hours : 8 : 00 AM - 4 : 30 PM
Skills :
- Public administration knowledge with reference to municipal administration and management.
- Experience with managing U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Community Grants.
- Experience working with and monitoring HUD grant funds in IDIS,
- Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles. (GAAP)
- Knowledge of MUNIS system.
- Ability to solve problems through analysis and research, then manage tasks to completion.
- Strong customer service skills for both internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and respond to deadlines.
- Demonstrated ability to work in diverse communities with a variety of community stakeholders.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Experience working with governmental organizations / agencies.
