Responsibilities
Under the direction of a licensed nurse, the Patient Care Specialist is responsible and accountable for providing supportive patient care.
The Unit Assistant assumes the responsibility for facilitating unit operations under the direction of the registered nurse, including clerical work, stocking, ordering, and transporting as well as specified patient care duties.
Demonstrates Service Excellence at all times. Other duties as assigned

About Universal Health Services
Qualifications
High School graduate or GED equivalent.
Current License as a Certified Nursing Assistant by the Florida Board of Nursing.
Completion of an approved nursing / medical assistant course, or currently attending an approved nursing program (RN / LPN).
Completion of an approved Unit Secretary course.
Current BLS certification.
