About The Position
Weekly Pay Range - $1836 To $2039 Job Title : MedSurgical Float Pool Nurse Job Specialty : Medical Surgical Job Duration : 13 Weeks Shift : Night 3x12-Hour (7 : 00 PM - 7 : 30 AM) Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week Experience : Minimum of 2 years in a Medical Surgical setting License : Valid compact or state license required Certifications : Current BCLS certification Must-Have : Proficient in IV start and telemetry monitoring- Experience with EPIC electronic health records system- Ability to handle patient ratios of 1 : 4-5- Strong communication and teamwork skills- Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail Job Description : Provide high-quality nursing care in a Medical Surgical setting.
- Flexibility to float within units of equivalent or lower acuity levels as needed.- Availability for weekdays, some weekends, and holidays.
- Successfully complete a mandatory orientation of 24 hours.- Comply with fingerprinting requirements promptly once the contract is signed.
- Local candidates must be within a 60-mile radius.- Compliance with flu vaccine requirements unless a medical exemption is provided.
