Benefits Support Representative (Part-Time) Overview
GSA National, an Accretivepany, has an exciting career opportunity for a Benefits Support Representative (Part-Time). Benefits Support Representative is responsible for providing customer support to employees of GSA clients by handling iing phone calls, chats, all other inquiries related to HR benefits andpliance.
As the first point of contact, you are responsible for assisting employees with their benefit questions by telephone, chat, and or creating tickets for escalations to internal team members in a call center environment.
The work schedule is 10 AM - 2 PM or 3 PM to 7 PM, Monday - Friday with additional hours required based on business necessity during times of high volume, including potential Saturday and / or Sunday.

What You'll Do
- Receive high volume iing calls related to employee benefits andpliance questions.
- Listen attentively to employee needs and concerns; demonstrate empathy.
- Relays accurate and detailed information to employees related to benefits, COBRA, retirement plans, payroll, status changes, reimbursement plans and Premium Reserve Account (PRA) using internal resources and knowledge.
- Assist andplete employee benefit enrollment changes over the phone and into the enrollment platform.
- Research and resolve calls at first point of contact.
- Escalates inquiries that require more research to Benefit Coordinators, by submitting tickets.
- Recognize and alert manager of trends in calls to ensure expedient resolutions.
- Learns and maintains benefits knowledge and Service Contract Act knowledge.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What You'll Need
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in Customer Service, Call Center, or Health Care environment.
- High School Diploma required.
- Associated degree preferred.
- Bilingual (English and Spanish) language skills strongly preferred.
- Ability to obtain a Life and Health License within 6 months of employment.
- Basic knowledge of Excel, Outlook, Agency Management Systems, Spreadsheet software, and Word Processing software.
- Ability to work out of the Fairfax, VA office as required.
- Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information in a secure manner. HIPPApliant.
- Works well under pressure with the demonstrated ability to multi-task.
