Responsibilities of theDentist
- Provide diagnosis ofpatients dental status utilizing accepted clinical and radiologicaltechniques.
- Assess patients dental status andarrange for appropriate consultations to determine treatmentneeded.
- Provide comprehensive professionaldental treatment to address the oral health needs ofpatients.
- Provide routine recall exams simpleextractions restorations prosthetic services prophylaxis andfluoride treatments.
- Refer to dentalspecialists when appropriate.
- Manageadministrative functions of the DentalOffice.
- Supervise the work of dental hygienistsand dental assistants.
Requirementsof the Dentist
- DMD or DDS fromaccredited dental school
- Must have MI licenseand DEA
- Must be willing to live and be part ofthe community of Jackson MI
- Competence in allfacets of general dentistry
- Strong focus onclinical excellence
