About The Position
Job Title : Pharmacy Technician Job Specialty : Pharmacy Technician - Preparation (Ambulatory Services) Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Day shifts, Monday - Friday, 8 : 00 AM - 8 : 00 PM, 8-hour shifts Guaranteed Hours : 40 hours per week Experience : Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Pharmacy Technician in a retail setting (preference given to experience within the last three years).
Epic and prior traveler experience are highly preferred. License : Pharmacy Technician registration in Wisconsin is required Certifications : Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPT) preferred Must-Have : - Permanent residence must be outside a 50-mile radius of Madison- High school diploma or equivalent- Two completed references from a recent work environment in the last two years (from supervisor or manager only) Job Description : Support pharmacy services across the entire designated area.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by assisting patients with their take-home medications in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
- Process claims and help patients navigate complex insurance issues.- Work hands-on with medications of all kinds.- The traveler may be required to float to different units or clinics based on staffing needs and demonstrated competence, including locations working with children up to 1 year of age.
- The position may involve working in different units if the primary unit no longer requires staffing support to complete the contract.
