Sales Internship

Basic Purpose : The primary purpose of this position is to provide support for all areas of sales and to facilitate a learning opportunity for the Intern.

Major Responsibilities :

• Learn sales processes and provides support for Fleet Sales
• Assist the various sales groups throughout the company
• Responsible for maintaining research-based projects
• Other duties assigned as needed
• Some travel required

Education & Experience :

• Education :
• HS Diploma or equivalent required
• Currently enrolled in four year university program (preparation for Bachelor’s Degree in Professional Sales, Marketing, or other related field).
• Experience :
• Past Internship or sales experience a plus

Skills & Physical Demands :

• Skills :
• Hard Skills : Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Soft Skills : Strong time management skills, excellent customer service and focus, multi-tasking, can-do attitude, sense of urgency, team player who takes ownership of personal duties and team goals, and strong work ethic.
• Typical Physical Demands :
• Requires prolonged sitting, some bending and stooping
• Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds
• Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard and calculator
• Requires normal range of hearing and vision
