Seeking a highly detail-oriented and motivated Residential and Multi-Family Electrical Estimator. The successful candidate will work closely with upper management to ensure accurate project planning and execution.
This role involves preparing construction plans, updating project orders, and maintaining effective communication with internal teams, customers, and vendors.
Key Responsibilities :
- Coordinate with purchasing managers to prepare and revise construction plans based on master takeoffs and customer-specific additions.
- Update project orders to include address-specific selections, such as construction plan edits, material requisition sheets, and billing / payment documents.
- Maintain clear and efficient communication with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring timely responses and issue resolution.
- Address and respond promptly to internal and external feedback to drive continuous improvement in processes and department performance.
- Establish and sustain strong working relationships with customers, vendors, management, and team members to ensure project success.
Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise :
- Detail-oriented with a strong work ethic focused on team success.
- Self-motivated and eager to learn, with a passion for continuous development.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and web-based applications.
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and electrical schematics.
- Experience with computer-based drawing tools is a plus but not required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks and priorities.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to adjust priorities to meet company needs.
- Must be able to pass pre-employment criminal background checks, driving checks, and drug screenings.
Qualifications :
- Experience in electrical estimation, particularly in residential and multi-family projects.
- Familiarity with purchasing and project management processes in construction.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills with a commitment to quality and accuracy.
