- High School Required
- Bachelor's Degree Required
- 5+ Years of Supervisory or Managerial Experience in both Facilities and Engineering. Hospital Experience and Behavioral Health Settings Preferred.
- High Level of Communication Skills
- Facilities and Engineering Supervisory or Managerial Experience in an Acute Care Hospital Setting
- Demonstrated Knowledge of Regulatory Requirements and Standards Applicable to Hospitals Including Safety, Construction, Materials, Equipment, and Utilities
General Summary :
Reporting to the Regional Director of Facilities and Engineering, manages Facility activities, both on and off campus, to include Plant Operations, Management of Utilities, Engineering, Electrical Services, Grounds Maintenance, and Building Maintenance to ensure a safe, comfortable, and reliable environment for the practice of health care.
Plans, organizes, staffs, and manages the operations of all NCH's physical plants, equipment, buildings, and grounds. Ensures proper maintenance of buildings including plumbing, refrigeration, electrical, carpentry, painting, and plant operations, ensuring clean and attractive campus grounds.
Develops the planning of facilities department operations and maintenance renovation activities at all NCH locations. Must be available by pager / cell phone 24 hours - 7 days a week as assigned or otherwise scheduled.
