Vilbig and Associates (VA) is seeking a qualified, growth-oriented civil engineer for land development and civil design in our Denison, Texas office. This is a full-time, in-person position at our Denison office, with the flexibility to work from home part-time after demonstrating capabilities.

Position Responsibilities

Work effectively with and without direct supervision on land development projects
Collaborate with virtual team members
Perform assignments requiring knowledge of engineering principles and the latest design codes
Develop site drainage plans and hydrology studies using current software
Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D
Review construction submittals for conformance to contract and design documents
Follow QA / QC procedures
Design earthwork analysis, utility infrastructure, stormwater management, and hydrological analysis
Design site facility layouts, grading, and drainage
Research code issues and communicate with city, state, and county officials
Research design options and document findings for project teams
Assist with other duties as assigned
Review design work by team members
Attend design review meetings and interact with clients as experience progresses
