About The Position

Make an impact! Unleash your potential! This is a rewarding 6-month contract in a correctional and rehabilitation facility. Shift 7am-5pm 3 days a week 10 hour shifts Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. This assignment is located in Soledad, CA.

We are seeking a PSYL|LMFT who can provide mental health services to mentally ill inmates / wards. Clinical social workers maintain order and supervise the conduct of patient inmates / youths, protect and maintain the safety of persons and property, and do other related work.

Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations, including suicide risk assessments and diagnoses

Provide individual and group therapy as well as crisis intervention

Complete clinical documentation : SOAPE notes, treatment plans, progress notes

Perform Mental Status Exams (MSE) and utilize psychological testing tools

Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams on complex cases and offer treatment recommendations

Job Requirements

Active California LMFT license

Minimum 12 months post-licensure experience (internships not accepted)

Must meet all legal requirements to practice in California

Proficient in English
